We all need regular physical movement to stay healthy – ‘use it or lose it’ some might say. Unfortunately, many of us are coming from behind because our sedentary lifestyles often lead to issues with posture, resulting in disc compression and chronic pain in the spine and joints all over the body.

Anyone who lifts weights adds to the compression of the spine and joints so it is important that they find ways to decompress and open up space in the joints that are meant to be there for optimal function and performance.

Sports Stretching

ELDOA classes and Myofascial Stretching differ from traditional stretch and yoga practises. The ELDOA method consists of postural exercises (LOADS) that target specific joints and work to decompress, relieve pain, and restore function and balance. It focuses on correcting pathologies that cause pain in the body through precise attention to form and correct progression. 

ELDOA was founded by renowned French osteopath, Dr. Guy Voyer, in Los Angeles, CA. All our trainers are certified ELDOA/MFS instructors and attend annual training summits to further their expertise.

In the ELDOA classes you will learn how to:

• alleviate and prevent back, neck and shoulder pain,

• stretch specific muscles to balance your body,

• realign your spine for better posture,

• decompress the discs in your spine, pelvis and shoulder joints, and

• optimise recovery from sports and training.

The increased flexibility will improve your joint mobility and overall health. As the quality of your tissue improves with the correct stimulus, you will find that you have better posture, greater range of joint motion, that you are able to perform tasks with greater ease, and you’ll suffer fewer injuries.
